Jellyfish Applique Crochet Pattern
Small seashell is about 3 1/4" and I used a loose crabstitch crochet in the front loops to finish it off. The medium shell is about 4" and used I used a sc around the spiral to finish it off. The large is 4 1/2" and I used a daisy stitch on the inside spiral and a whipstitch to go around the outside because that pattern uses large stitches and has to use both loops of each stitch. The bottom 2 in picture are the same pattern just finished off differently.
LARGE SEASHELL
Create a magic ring. 1ch, 2sc, 2hdc, 8 dc into the ring. Pull ring closed but do not join. Spiral around with 2dc in each of next 4 sts, 2tr in each of next 6 sts, 2dtr in each of next 10 sts. FO. Add stitching (optional)
MEDIUM SEASHELL
Follow directions for large shell but adding a sc around the spiral will draw up the edges by a good half an inch.
SMALL SEASHELL
Create a magic ring. 5sc, 5hdc, 2dc in the ring, pull ring but do not join. The rest of shell works in the back loops of the stitches only. 2dc in the next 5 sts, 2tr in the next 8. Pick up other color and crabstitch or sc in front loops (optional).
